Do I require planning permission for my project?

Not always, it depends on the type of project. However, all building work requires approval from the local authority in order to be classed as a habitable space. Certain extensions can be done as a permitted development, such as a loft conversion or a single storey extension. We would always recommend applying for a Lawful Development Certificate to make sure your proposed extension falls within the permitted development rules.

Can you obtain planning permission for my project?

We will look to you for the fees due to the council, which you will have to pay directly to your local authority. As your agent, we will liaise with the council on your behalf with any queries or requests that they have.
